Fritz von Allmen, founder of Kandahar shoes was himself a ski racer and a ski instructor. He knew the hardships to which his feet were exposed during snow sports. The desire for comfortable, light and well insulated footwear following severe climbs and racy descents was well known to him. The first Après ski boot was created from this need. The Kandahar shoes are proudly made in Switzerland.
